Principal's Letter
Welcome to Dalton High School, that is located in eastern Wayne County. We currently serve 306 students in grades 9-12, with 41 of these students receiving their education at the Wayne County School’s Career Center.
Dalton High School has been an educational setting of unparalleled success over the years. Our school has been designated as Excellent or Excellent with Distinction for last 10 consecutive years. Along with this state recognition, Dalton High School has also been recognized nationally, by being named a Blue Ribbon School in 2007.
In addition to outstanding academics, Dalton has had substantial success in athletics and the fine arts. The level of cooperation among the community, parents, staff, and students creates a learning environment that is nurturing and conducive to life-long learning.
As stated in our mission statement, Dalton High School will continue to “prepare our students to be capable of adjusting to the ever-changing needs and dynamics of the 21st Century.”
